Emma is our Pastor of Children & Youth here at BAC. She officially joined the staff team on April 4, 2023, as our Youth Director, and in July 2024, she transitioned to become our Pastor of Children & Youth. Emma oversees the Children's Ministries (Birth to Grade 5), Jr. High Ministries, Youth Band, Youth Serve Team, and Quizzing Team.

Emma graduated from Tyndale University in 2022 with a double major in Biblical Studies and Philosophy. She began attending BAC in 2020 and quickly got involved with the Audio/Visual team, serving for two years and eventually becoming a camera and switcher trainer. In 2021, Emma started serving in the Jr. High ministry, and in 2022, she joined the Kids ministry team. She also spent three summers as a summer grant staff and completed a nine-month internship under our former Children's Pastor.

"I truly love my job and feel so blessed that God has called me to serve here at BAC. God has brought so many wonderful people into this church, and it's a joy to mentor, care for, and disciple our kids and youth-helping them understand how much Jesus loves them while challenging them to follow Him in every area of their lives. It's also a privilege to work alongside such an incredible team of Kids and Youth leaders. When I look at our students, I don't see them as 'the next generation'-I see them as part of the generation of today. God is already working in and through them, and I believe He will continue to use them right now to make an impact in His Kingdom. I also have the joy of sharing the Youth Pastor role with Pastor Shawn, our Sr. High Pastor. He's an amazing guy who deeply cares for all our students, and together, we're passionate about helping every student grow in their relationship with Christ."

Emma is passionate about the local church, seeing lives transformed by the love of God, and encouraging others to use their gifts to serve both within and outside the church. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, fishing, riding go-karts, and reading.
